Our Opportunity
With demand for sunflower oil rising beyond the available supply for the past decade, and recognizing that local processors are either very large or very small, David Tzubeli assembled a team of experts to fill the gaps within the sunflower oil ecosystem. Three years of planning and building resulted in a highly efficient, scalable facility that is robust enough to fill the demand yet nimble enough to respond to changing market conditions.

David Tzubeli
Founder / Managing Director
David is the visionary and founder of Mehudar. David has experience in establishing companies within various industries. David’s experience with Eruvin in the US, Europe and Israel communities includes modernizing methods of establishing, supervising and repairing Eruvin. He is a renown Mohel and Shochet, and gifted with superb handiness, his expertise extended into the manufacture of knives and sharpening tools. He was also involved in the construction of slaughter houses, and maintains a broad knowledge of production machinery.
Natan Ohayon
Director
Natan, a resident of Uman, is our head Operations Manager. Natan has been instrumental in establishing 10 manufacturing plants across various industries within Ukraine, including lumber, frozen food, hydroponic greenhouses, charcoal and clothing, He established and managed a telemarketing company. Natan has many years of experience with sunflower seed oil and recently completed a year of intense training in Sunflower Seed plant management. Natan was also the head manager of Scheiner's Hachnasas Orchim Enterprises in Uman.
Joe Goldman
Operations, Technology & Finance
Joe has over 30 years of experience in Managing Operations and Technology teams within the Manufacturing, Financial Services and Healthcare industries. He specializes in Process Engineering and Team Management. He served as VP at Goldman Sachs and Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase managing Global Projects, innovating end-to-end improvements and achieving significant ROI. He served as a Management Consultant for numerous startups organizing their Operations, Technology and Finances.

Sasha Dyachuk
Director
Sasha is a third generation Sunflower Seed grower and Oil Manufacturer. Until recently, Sasha acted as the overseer of hundreds of workers. Sasha uses his acquired motivational skills to oversee our day-to-day activities in Mehudar. Sasha also served as Mayor of Uman, giving him a personal connection with all the local officials. He is tasked with obtaining all necessary permits and licenses, and uses his connections with many Ukrainian officials to help us reach our goals efficiently and smoothly.
Ivan Dimitrovitch
Chief Technologist and Engineer
Ivan joined our staff as our technical adviser and coordinator. As a Process Engineer of the Oil and Fat Industry, Ivan has 40 years experience in large (1000 tons/day) and small (50 tons/day) facilities including building 5 plants from scratch. He was responsible for the selection of technology and equipment for the pressing, extracting, refining, and packaging of sunflower and soybeans tailored to each customer type. Ivan has relocated locally, and is working full time in guiding us on all the technical details involved in every decision. Ivan is a highly sought after consultant for Sunflower Seed equipment companies
Vaddim Dubrulski
Purchasing & Sales
Vaddim is a seed and oil purchase and sales expert who has been working in sunflower seed marketing for 15 years. He is familiar with growers both at the local and federal levels, as well as all the major players throughout the supply chain.
